Gainesville Country Club has earned a reputation for exceptional cuisine and friendly, professional service. Taste Sushi Bar & Asian Cuisine offers a wide variety of Asian favorites, from fresh sushi and sashimi (more than 20 varieties) to pad thai and pho. For those unfamiliar with this Vietnamese dish, Pho is a traditional soup of rice noodles in a meat broth that is accompanied by lime, onion, bean sprouts and cilantro. Taste also offers several vegetarian options.
In 1985, Jim Mellody dreamed up the idea of a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Together, with his wife Jeanette, they played around with the Brady family name and came up with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s. Among other things, Beef’s is known for its award-winning wings, which are available in 12 sauces.
Wahoo Seafood Grill strives to offer the best seafood it can offer from locally sourced fisheries. Oysters are either from Apalachicola or Crystal River. Its fish are from St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Entrees range from crab cakes served in a remoulade and tequila-citrus sauce to Big Pot Boils filled with crawfish, crabs, shrimp and andouille sausage.
