A change in season always calls for a change in decor! Make your home feel like that oh-so-yummy first sip of Pumpkin Spice Latte by following these designer tips…
Warm and Inviting
Your front door or foyer is the perfect space to make a statement that fall is officially here! Hang a wreath or style your table with a mixture of autumn pieces to elevate your current décor.
Flavors of Green
Green is the it color for fall! Embrace Mother Nature’s different shades, from lime to moss to emerald green, for that perfect autumn touch!
Use a mixture of shiny, matte and sparkling accent pieces without losing the impact of your monochromatic design. Browse your home for hidden gems, such as different vases, planter pots and accessories that can be restyled to fit your look.
Extend the lifespan of your fall décor by using an assortment of dried or silk products, such as artichokes, pods, dried berries and curly willow. Dried flowers last about 12 times longer than real flowers!
Basics of Styling a Fall Vignette
Start with a base, such as moss or vine. Group your larger pieces or focal points together. This is where the artichokes, pods and any large dried flowers would come in. Fill the gaps with large leaves and silk hydrangeas, and start creating the shape with the longer stems while keeping the color balance throughout. Step back, reassess and tweak, and enjoy your new creation! Happy fall!
