The Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention will host its inaugural “Inventivity Bash” fundraiser, presented by RTI Surgical, on May 16, 2015, starting at 6:30 p.m. This event will be held at the Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall.
The inaugural Inventivity Bash, formerly the Cade Museum Prize Night, will focus on the science of cooking with a “YUMology + Molecular Gastronomy” theme. It will be a spectacular evening of dining, interactive presentations and demonstrations, and the awarding of the 6th Annual Cade Museum prize.
On-stage presentations include a science of taste interactive, Final Four contestants of the Cade Museum Prize and the announcement of the prize winner. Demonstrations include appetizers prepared using the latest in food science technology by Executive Chef Briton Dumas from Embers, Executive Chef Valero from Sabore, and Chef de Cuisine Jeff Allen, Chef Carter Affleck and Chef Brian Warner from Dragonfly. A buffet dinner is included along with a full bar that includes a specialty drink designed just for the evening and beer from First Magnitude Brewery.
The Inventivity Bash aims to keep the spirit of the former Cade Museum Prize Night, while adding extra fun and excitement to the evening.
“We at the Cade Museum are excited to meld the Cade Museum Prize Night with an annual fundraiser that not only awards a significant prize to a worthy inventor/entrepreneur, but also helps procure funds to ‘Raise the Cade,’” said Jennifer Denault, COO Cade Museum.
The event draws a number of local businesses, start-ups, media, venture capitalists, angel investors, innovators, educators and supporters who embody the mission of the Cade Museum to inspire creative thinking, future investors and early entrepreneurs.
Tickets are $150 per person, Tables start at $1,600 and sponsorships are available. To purchase tickets or for more information visit: www. Cademuseum.org/Inventivity-bash or contact Leslie Ladendorf, Development Director, 352-371-8001, [email protected].
